Okay, tried to do this, but when I went through the application, it would not allow me to sign up without choosing a payment option, then I had to agree to a commitment that said it was a “free 30 days with paid membership” and that if I did nothing, my membership would be automatically renewed through the payment method I had chosen, and if I wanted to cancel at any time, I had to follow their cancellation procedure (which was not easy to find) and any unused subscription would not be refunded. Any time a company wants my credit card information and wants me to commit to a recurring bill for something, it always makes me nervous. I opted NOT to participate in the “free” trial. That really stinks! The e-mail I received said it was a 30 day free trial with no payment information required. I don’t normally participate in “free” trials if a credit card is required and don’t pay for shipping on free items either.

I just signed up & it asks on the first page for paypal or credit card & then you put your name, address, etc, check yes for the agreement, but it never asked me for my paypal acct info, etc. Maybe if I would have selected credit card it would have made me put the info in?? I will be careful to watch after 30 days & see if I am going to get charged.

Did this work out for you? I have had similar issues.

Also, what is your favorite thing about this site (specifically)?

    Ken,
This free 30 day trial was for December 2008.
My favorite thing about Savings Angel is how it is organized and the rate that it is updated. Compared to other free deal forums it is very well organized and you don’t have to look for the best deals or read 20 pages of comments for them. The groceries are listed per store with the highest percentage off the regular retail value listed first. The links to printable coupons are up to date as well as the coupons are kept up to date and per region, so no getting excited about a $1 off coupon that makes your item free only to discover that your region only got a 50 cents off coupon.
